I got a chance a part of 2016 Canadian Screen Awards. I was volunteering with The Academy again for Canadian Screen Week and before and after of the awards. I was also part of the show (as a seat filler). I was sitting behind Christopher Plummer and you can see me during Jacob Tremblay’s acceptance speech! I was rooting for Jacob (my fellow Vancouverite) and loved Room!
Last night, CFC’s 2015 Short Dramatic Film Showcase took place at TIFF Bell Lightbox. The filmmakers in the program created four amazing and diverse films. They include Drift, Stray Dog, Chameleon and Benjamin. I was a background extra for the last scene in Chameleon! I love how the short film turned out. I was proud to have gotten a chance to be part of the film and see the film in advance. Congrats to all the filmmakers and production crew and volunteers for all their hard work! I will make sure to keep you guys posted on any future screenings of Chameleon! I will definitely be keeping you all informed over social media as well! xoxo
A couple weeks ago, I got an opportunity to be a background performer on CFC’s upcoming film, Chameleon. I hope to update on the film (potential release and more). I had a wonderful time on set during the 2 hour shoot.
I am proud to be a part of this year’s WIFT-T Showcase Selection Committee. I got to view the submissions and decide along with my fellow committee members what made this year’s showcase and who would win Best of Showcase and Best Screenplay. WIFT-T Showcase is happening on April 1 at Royal Cinema and post reception at Bar Italia. Check out the line up and hope to see you there!
I got a chance to attend the Canadian Screen Awards last night as a seat filler. My first time being a seat filler as well as attending the CSAs. It was on my list of events I needed to attend. Congrats to all the winners! You can watch the awards here. The part you can see more of me is when Orphan Black wins Best Drama Series!
